Sitemap

The Sitemap of Pickering Hood Cleaning is a single-page index of the fifteen indexable pages on this website, arranged in three groups: the four service pages with the NFPA 96 guide, the customer and coverage pages, and the company and legal pages. Each entry carries one line saying what that page holds, so a restaurant owner on Kingston Road or a facilities manager on Harwood Avenue lands on the right page without guessing. Two machine-readable files, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, are linked at the foot of the list.

Service pages and the NFPA 96 guide

What the crew is hired to do, and the published standard each job is measured against.

  • Home. The Pickering and Ajax overview, the five kinds of kitchen served, the seven steps of a visit, the two published prices, and the quote form.
  • Our Services. A table that matches a symptom to the right page, plus a section on choosing a hood cleaning company. The starting point when the problem has no name yet.
  • Hood Cleaning Services. Canopies, baffle filters, the plenum, the three hood styles, and how cooking type sets the cleaning interval.
  • Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning. The horizontal run and the riser, access panels, hood-only compared with full-system scope, and shared risers in plaza buildings.
  • Exhaust Fan Repair and Installation. Belts, bearings, motors and roof curbs, repair compared with replacement, hinge kits, and grease containment on the roof.
  • Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaning. Equipment cavities, walls, ceilings, floors and drains, the deep clean compared with a nightly close, and the Durham Region Health Department angle.
  • NFPA 96 Fire Code. The 0.078 inch grease limit, inspection frequency by cooking volume, how the Ontario Fire Code references the standard, and what the certificate does and does not say.

Customers and coverage

The kitchen types inside the service area, and the service area itself.

  • Who We Serve. Restaurants and pubs, hotels and venues, retirement and long-term care, schools and campuses, clubs and community kitchens: what each does to an exhaust system and what each needs on paper.
  • Areas Served. The Pickering communities, the Ajax communities, the rural hamlets in the north, and the Pickering Fire Services and Ajax Fire and Emergency Services comparison.
  • Kitchen Hood Cleaning Ajax. Harwood Avenue, Westney Road, Salem Road, Pickering Village and the waterfront, Ajax Fire and Emergency Services and its three halls, and a table of Ajax kitchen types.

Fifteen pages describe the work. One of them, the kitchen exhaust page, covers the duct interior shown here.

Company and legal pages

Who does the work, how to reach them, and the conditions behind a visit.

  • About. How the brand and the operating crew fit together, the photo and certificate standard, and why coverage ends at the Pickering and Ajax boundary.
  • Contact. The quote form, what to have ready before calling, and how quickly the phone and the form are answered.
  • Privacy Policy. The five details the form collects, the Netlify function and CRM they pass through, retention, and how to request access, correction or deletion.
  • Terms of Service. The quote as the binding document, the limits of the certificate, roof access and safety, cancellation, payment, liability and Ontario law.
  • Sitemap. The page you are reading.

Two files built for machines sit beside these pages. sitemap.xml gives search engines every indexable address in one list. llms.txt is a plain-text summary of the business, its four services, its two prices and its Pickering and Ajax coverage, written for AI answer engines that read facts rather than page layouts.

Reading this index: frequently asked questions

How many pages are on pickeringhoodcleaning.ca?

Fifteen indexable pages, every one listed above, plus a thank-you page shown only after a form is sent and kept out of search results deliberately. The count is small on purpose: each page carries one subject in enough depth to answer the question that brought a kitchen owner to it.

Is there a separate pricing page?

No. The two published figures, from $385 per visit for a single-hood kitchen up to ten feet and from $725 per visit for a multi-hood kitchen of two to four canopies, sit on the homepage and on each service page they apply to, next to an explanation of what moves the price for that scope. A number without that context misleads more than it helps.

Which page should I read after a fire inspection notice?

Start with the NFPA 96 Fire Code page, which sets out the grease limit, the interval the standard expects for a given cooking volume, and what Pickering Fire Services or Ajax Fire and Emergency Services will ask to see. The contact page then lists what to have ready when you call.

Why does Ajax have its own page when Pickering communities do not?

Ajax is a separate municipality with its own fire service, its own inspectors and its own downtown, so it earns a page that speaks to those facts directly. Every Pickering community, from Bay Ridges to Claremont, shares one municipality and one fire service, and all of them are covered on the Areas Served page. Kitchens in either place call 289-278-7261.

What is llms.txt and why is it linked here?

llms.txt is the third index of the same website. The page you are reading serves people, sitemap.xml serves search crawlers, and llms.txt serves AI answer engines that lift business facts from plain text. Keeping the three aligned means the same phone number, the same prices and the same coverage line appear wherever a kitchen looks.

Skip the reading and describe the kitchen

Call 289-278-7261 and say what the line cooks and how many hoods it has. A short call places the job faster than fifteen pages.
